Comfort meets performance as Swerve incorporates a cutting-edge band design with the effectiveness of E-A-R foam earplugs. Lightweight and durable plastic flexes and rebounds easily for frequent on-and-off wearing. Neckband adjusts for optimal fit. Ergonomic design minimizes interference with shirt collars and headgear. Sold with E-A-RFlex 28 pods, (322-2001) Noise Reduction Rating (NRR): 28 dB. CSA Class AL (Flex 28) and E-A-R Comfort Pod Tips (322-2001) Noise Reduction Rating (NRR): 19 dB. Research suggests that many users will receive less noise reduction than indicated by the NRR due to variation in earplug fit, earplug fitting skill, and motivation of the user. It is recommended that the NRR be reduced by 50% to better estimate typical workplace protection.
